Privacy Policy

The app

Gas Mileage Tracker stores your vehicles and fill-ups on your device. There is no account, no server and no sync. We cannot see your data, and neither can anyone else, because it never leaves the phone.

Because there is no cloud copy, your log is only as safe as your device backup. If you use iCloud Backup or a computer backup, your fill-ups are included in it. If you do not, and the phone is lost, the log is lost.

Purchases are handled by Apple through RevenueCat. We receive an anonymous identifier telling us whether the purchase is active. We never see your name, your email address or your payment details.

This website

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never sent anywhere and are not stored between visits.

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That collects a truncated IP address, your approximate country, your browser and which page you came from. It does not identify you. If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker will stop it.

What we never do

• Sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers
• Track you across other websites or apps
• Ask for contacts, photos, or location
• Require an account to use the app

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
